About U-Doodle

U-Doodle is an agency for mural and street artists that improves the way businesses and artists have social impact. We directly connect artists with paid gigs to use their art in business, nonprofit, and government settings. Our speciality is in team-building and corporate responsibility experiences, meaning our artists use their talents to produce high-quality murals in collaboration with business leaders, local youth, and community centers across the country.

Since 2011, we’ve implemented over 200 arts-infused programs for corporate boards, nonprofit leaders, university students, and youth of all ages. Until now, we’ve attracted artists and gigs by mostly word-of-mouth and grassroots marketing. Today, however, U-Doodle is pivoting its strategy to work at a national, and soon, international scale. As part of this strategy we’re focused on mastering the art of client acquisition and retention by adding a Sales & Marketing guru to our international team.

The Position

The Sales & Marketing Lead is on the front lines of scaling U-Doodle across the U.S. As the first team member specialized in sales and marketing, you advocate U-Doodle’s team-building and corporate social responsibility (CSR) solutions to leading companies, schools and government agencies. You champion the belief that art is a fundamental -- yet untapped -- tool for creating more collaborative, socially responsible, and productive organizations. With a passion for the potential social impact of businesses, nonprofits, and governments, you join U-Doodle to help make the world a more vibrant and meaningful place.

This position is remote and will work consistently via Skype, Google Hangout and Slack with team members working out of Miami, Florida and Jerusalem, Israel.  Work is contracted to start, with a (negotiable) 6 month long contract to start. Payment is commission based, with the possibility of receiving an additional stipend during the first 6 months. After the first 6 months, salary and contract details will be re-evaluated based on achieved goals and key performance metrics. This position will ideally evolve into a full-time salaried role, as early as possible, depending on our success as a team.


  • Champion client acquisition, retention and B2B marketing, from research to strategy to payment.

  • Achieve goals and manage the sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics with a strong emphasis on new business.

  • Generate and qualify all leads and opportunities, make outbound calls to targeted clients and respond to inbound inquiries from marketing and lead generation programs.

  • Engage with prospect organizations and media outlets (as needed) to position U-Doodle’s CSR and team-building solutions through strategic value based selling, business case definition, analysis, and references.

  • Produce and design strategic sales/marketing copy and collateral, including (but not limited to) pitch decks, website, social media, client proposals, press releases, op-eds, and/or blogs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in field sales with corporate accounts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in selling human-centered solutions (broadly in fields related to education, the arts, and consulting)

  • Proven ability to deliver consistently against business goals and to grow a sales business that exceeds expectations

  • Ability to work independently with tenacious attitude geared at motivating teammates across platforms like Skype, Google Hangout and Slack

  • Energized about scaling social enterprises, especially at intersections of art and business

  • Articulate communication skills, strong in high level presentations, phone conversation

  • An eye for high quality design, an optimistic sensibility during difficult times, an instinct towards experimentation, and a love for creating data-based solutions
