University Affiliate Chapters (UACs) are independently run student organizations that unite diverse college communities with interactive art. 

Chapters are launched by students who are passionate about using art as a catalyst for social and educational benefit. They serve as a welcoming creative hub for the student population, and an outlet for service learning off campus.

In partnership with local schools, community groups and workspaces, UAC members participate in community building projects throughout the surrounding neighborhood.

Service-learning goes beyond what is learned in the classroom. It is a hands-on experience. Students gain new skills by working directly with the community.

Who is in charge of a University Affiliate Chapter (UAC)?

A U-Doodle UAC is organized and managed by a student board known as The Doodle Team. Co-sponsored by the host-institution, coached by U-Doodle Inc. professionals, and advised by faculty members, UACs build creative and collaborative communities lead by students for students.  

How are University Affiliate Chapters related to U-Doodle Inc.?

Throughout a Chapter's lifespan, students are partnered with a U-Doodle Inc. professional who coaches them through the community building process. Each month Doodle Team representatives join a national Google Hangout where they connect with fellow Chapters from across the globe. 

What is the process like to launch a University Affiliate Chapter?

To launch a UAC, interested students must first become Campus Doodle Ambassadors. As a Doodle Ambassador, that student builds the foundation for a new student organization, recruits the first Doodle Team, and attracts momentum for their new creative community.
